Ingredients
Cake:
- 1 Box Strawberry Cake Mix
- 1 package 3.4 oz Vanilla or Cheesecake Instant Pudding
- 1 Cup Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil
- 1 Cup Full Fat Sour Cream
- 4 Eggs
- ½ Cup Milk
- 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
Poke Filling:
- 1 package 3.4 oz Vanilla or Cheesecake Instant Pudding
- 2 Cups Milk
Topping:
- 8 oz of Tubbed Whipped Cream
- 1.5 Cups Fresh or Frozen Strawberries
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In the bowl of a mixer, combine all the wet ingredients for the cake mix and mix for 1 minute.
- With the mixer on low, add in the pudding mix and cake mix. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
- Pour the cake batter into a deep dish 9×13 pan that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
- Once the cake is done, let it cool on the counter for 20-30 minutes.
- Once the cake has lightly cooled, poke holes all over it using the back of a spatula or a fork.
- In a bowl, mix together the pudding mix and milk. Immediately pour the mixture over the cake, ensuring it fills the holes.
