$500 for a Texas small business.
The Spice It Up Small Biz Grant is a $500 small business grant for one for-profit small business based in Texas.
Applications open November 1, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Central and close November 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Central.
Sponsored and administered by Penny Blossom LLC d/b/a Bailee’s Kitchen, a for-profit Texas business. This is a merit-based business competition, not a raffle or sweepstakes.

Bailee’s Kitchen exists because an angel funder believed in it early. That gift covered costs I couldn’t have managed on my own, and I don’t take it lightly.
Most people starting a business don’t have someone like that in their corner. The bills show up long before the first sale does: hours in a commercial kitchen, ingredients and packaging, equipment, booth fees at farmers markets and trade shows, and the printed materials that help customers find you.
I created the Spice It Up Small Biz Grant to pass some of that support along. The grant helps a Texas small business cover one of those early expenses, because sometimes a single funded need is what keeps the doors open into next month.
The $500 grant will be awarded regardless of the number of applications received.
This small business grant is open to for-profit small businesses established and based in Texas when they apply, including sole proprietors with a DBA, LLCs, partnerships, and corporations. The owner applying must be 18 or older.
