Baked Tilapia with Chili Lime Flavor and Roasted Broccoli

Indulge in a delicious meal of Baked Tilapia infused with zesty Chili Lime flavors, accompanied by perfectly roasted Broccoli. The Tilapia fillets are coated with a vibrant blend of lime zest, orange zest, spices, and garlic, then baked to perfection. Meanwhile, fresh broccoli florets are seasoned and roasted until crispy. Ingredients

For the Tilapia:

  • 2 lbs Tilapia Fillets Approximately 8 pieces
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • Zest of 1 Lime
  • Juice of 2 Limes
  • Zest of ½ Orange
  • Juice of 1 Orange About ¼ cup
  • ½ tablespoon Smoked Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

For the Roasted Broccoli:

  • 2 cups Fresh Broccoli cut into bite-size pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ Red Pepper sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a large bowl, combine the broccoli with oil, salt, smoked paprika, lemon pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and sliced red pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Spread the seasoned broccoli in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with foil or a baking mat. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. After 10 minutes, toss the broccoli and continue baking for another 8-10 minutes or until crispy. Remove from the oven and reduce the oven temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • While the broccoli bakes, prepare the tilapia. In a large bowl, toss the tilapia fillets with minced garlic, lime zest, lime juice, orange zest, orange juice, smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, cayenne, oregano, garlic powder, and salt until evenly coated.
  • Arrange the seasoned tilapia fillets in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with foil or a baking mat. Pour any leftover seasoning from the bowl over the fish.
  • Place the baking sheet with the tilapia in the 400-degree oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve the baked tilapia on top of white rice or cilantro rice, accompanied by the roasted broccoli. Optionally, drizzle some of the sauce from the baking pan over the fish before serving. Enjoy your flavorful meal!
