Chipotle Chicken Sandwich
Cheesy, a little spicy, chicken sandwich on a roasted jalapeno and cheddar cheese sourdough bun.
Ingredients
Chipotle Mayo
- 1 Cup Mayo
- 2 Chipotle Peppers From the Jar
- 1/4 tsp Salt and pepper
- 1-2 Tbsp Water Add 1 tablespoon at a time until you get a sandwich spread consistency
Chipotle Chicken Sandwich
- 1 Roasted Jalapeno and Cheddar Cheese Sourdough Bun – Bailee's Kitchen (baileeskitchen.com)
- 1/4 lbs. Chicken Deli Meat (Roasted or Cajun room tempature)
- 2 Slices Smoked Provolone
- 2 Slices Cheddar Cheese
- 1 Roasted Red Bell Pepper Slice From the Jar or Fresh
- 1 Tbsp Black Olives Sliced
- 1/2 Tomato Sliced Thin
- 1 Slice Red Onion Sliced Thin
- 1/4 Cups Shredded Lettuce
Instructions
Chipotle Mayo
- Add all the ingredients for the chipotle mayo into a blender. Blend until it is combined. Add more water if it is not thin enough for a sandwich spread.
Chipotle Chicken Sandwich
- Turn your oven on to broil.
- Line a baking sheet with foil
- Split your Jalapeno Cheddar bun in half. Place two slices of smoked provolone and two slices of cheddar cheese on the bottom bun.
- Warm your deli meat up if cold. Add to the top bun. Top with your chipotle mayo. Place under the broil till cheese is melted.
- Add olives, red peppers, tomatoes, red onion, and lettuce.
- Enjoy!
