Chocolate Oreo Poke Cake
Chocolate Box Cake that tastes like a fresh bakery cake! Topped with cookies and cream pudding and whipped cream!
Ingredients
- 1 Chocolate Box Cake
- 16 oz Full Fat Sour Cream
- 1/2 Cups Dark Coffee Room Temperature
- 3 Eggs Room Temperature
- 1/3 Cups Vegetable Oil
- 2 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Cup Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Cookies and Cream Pudding Mix
- 2 Cups Whole Milk
Whipped Cream Icing
- 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 2 Tbsp Powder Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 10 Oreo Cookies Crushed
Instructions
Chocolate Cake
- Turn oven on to 350 degrees.
- Mix sour cream, coffee, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract together. Add in your cake mix. Mix for 2-3 minutes. Fold in your mini chocolate chips.
- Pour into a greased 9 x 13 and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
- Once done baking, let the cake rest for 1-2 hours or until the cake is completely cooled.
Oreo Pudding Mix and Whipped Topping
- While the cake is cooling crush your Oreos, make your pudding mix according to the package, and whip up your whipped cream mixture.
Bring Everything Together
- Poke holes into your cake with the end of a scapula. Pour your pudding mixture over the cake and into the holes. Spread out evenly.
- Spread your whipped cream mixture over the pudding mixture and top with your crushed Oreos.
- You can eat this right away or let it sit over night in the fridge. Enjoy!
