Ingredients

Seafood Mixture

  • 8 oz Imitation Crab
  • 1 lb Shrimp Peeled and Deveined

Creamy Mixture

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Room Temperature
  • ¾ Cup Mayo
  • 2 Tbsp Sriracha
  • Rice
  • 2 Cups Cooked Rice
  • 1 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar

Seasoning

  • Nori Komi Furikake Rice Seasoning

Optional Toppings

  • Sriracha
  • Japanese BBQ Sauce
  • Yum Yum Sauce
  • Green Onions
  • Seedless Cucumber
  • Avocado
  • Seaweed Snack Paper

Instructions

Cook Shrimp

  • Bring a large pot of water to a simmer.
  • Add ½ tsp of salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Add shrimp and cook for 34 minutes.
  • Remove with a slotted spoon and place in a bowl to cool.

Prepare Seafood Mixture

  • Chop imitation crab and cooked shrimp into bitesize pieces.
  • Add to a bowl along with the cream cheese, mayo, and sriracha.
  • Stir together and adjust any seasoning to taste.

Prepare Rice

  • Once rice finishes cooking, stir in 1 tbsp of the rice wine vinegar.

Assemble and Bake

  • Add rice to the bottom of a 9×9 baking dish.
  • Top with 1 tbsp of rice seasoning.
  • Add the crab and shrimp mixture on top.
  • Drizzle more sriracha, Japanese BBQ, and yum yum sauce across the top.
  • Place under the broiler (450°F) for 2-3 minutes or until bubbly.

Garnish and Serve

  • Once out of the oven, top with more rice seasoning and green onions.
  • Serve with seaweed paper, cucumber, and avocado.
  • Enjoy your delicious seafood bake with optional toppings for added flavor and texture!
