Honey Garlic Glazed Pork Tenderloin is a flavorful and succulent dish featuring seasoned pork loin portions, seared to perfection, and glazed with a rich honey garlic sauce. The pork is oven-baked and briefly broiled for a caramelized finish. The accompanying sauce, made with ingredients like orange juice and soy sauce, adds a sweet and savory touch. After a short resting period, the tenderloin is served with extra sauce, creating a delightful main course that pairs well with side dishes like Air-Fried Parmesan Brussels Sprouts.
Ingredients
- 3 lb Pork Loin
- 6 Tbsp High Smoke Point Oil (Vegetable Oil, Canola Oil)
Pork Seasoning:
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black Pepper
Honey Garlic Glaze:
- ¼ Cup Water or Chicken Stock
- ¾ Cup Orange Juice No Pulp
- 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
- ½ Cup Soy Sauce
- 1/2 Cup Honey
- 3 Garlic Cloves Minced
- 1 Tbsp Cornstarch + 1 Tbsp Water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Clean and pat dry the pork loin, removing any fat and silver skin. Cut the loin into 4 equal size portions.
- Mix the pork seasonings in a small bowl. Lightly coat each pork portion with 2-3 Tbsp of oil, followed by the seasoning, ensuring all sides are covered.
- In a large pan over medium heat, add 1-2 Tbsp of oil. Sear each loin for 2-3 minutes per side or until golden-brown crust forms. Transfer to a baking dish lined with a wire rack. Reduce heat to low.
- Place the pork loin in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, checking with a meat thermometer at the halfway point. For medium-rare, aim for 145 degrees; for more well-done, aim for 155 degrees. Thinner pieces may cook faster.
- While the pork cooks, prepare the sauce. In the same pan, turn the heat to low and add ¼ cup water or chicken stock to deglaze. Scrape the brown bits from the pan, then add the remaining sauce ingredients. Simmer, stirring often.
- Once the pork is done, remove it from the oven. Switch to low broil. Brush sauce onto the pork and return to the oven for 30 seconds to 1 minute until the top is bubbly.
- Transfer the pork to a cutting board, brush with another coating of sauce, cover lightly with foil, and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- After resting, cut the pork and serve with extra sauce and your favorite sides. Consider pairing it with Air-Fried Parmesan Brussels Sprouts for a delicious meal.
