Instructions
Begin by trimming any excess fat from the pork loin. Slice it into ¼-inch thick steaks and then cut each steak into strips.
Place the pork strips and sliced onions in a spacious bowl. Pour the Chef Merito Meat Marinade over them. Toss the pork and onions in the marinade until they are thoroughly coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours or leave it marinating overnight for best results.
Heat a large skillet over high heat. In batches, add the marinated pork and onions. Cook for approximately 5-6 minutes. You’ll know they’re ready when you can easily cut the pork strips in half using a pair of tongs. Transfer the cooked pork and onions to a cutting board and chop them into bite-sized pieces. Don’t forget to pour any accumulated juices from the skillet over the chopped pork to keep it juicy and flavorful.
To serve, warm the corn tortillas. Fill each tortilla with the chopped pork and onions. Top with chopped fresh onions, fresh cilantro, and salsa according to your preference. Enjoy your delicious Pork Tacos!
