Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef or Turkey
  • ½ Onion Diced
  • ½ Green Bell Pepper Diced
  • 2 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 1 Package of Taco Seasoning
  • 1 – 15 oz Can of Fire Roasted Tomatoes
  • 2 Cups of Water or Beef Broth
  • 8 oz of Spaghetti or Angel Hair
  • 1 Cup of Freshly Grated Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  • In a skillet capable of holding 2 cups of water, begin browning the meat. Add onions and bell peppers when the meat is halfway cooked.
  • Once the meat is no longer pink, use a paper towel to absorb some grease. Stir in garlic cloves and taco seasoning, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Introduce tomatoes and water/broth, bringing the mixture to a low simmer. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  • Add pasta to the skillet, gently pressing it down to submerge it in the liquid. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the pasta is tender.
  • Once the pasta is cooked, sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese on top. Cover with the lid for 1-2 minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
  • Serve and enjoy your delicious Taco Pasta!
