1 Hour Shrimp Ramen

Simple and Delicious Shrimp Ramen under an hour.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 lb Shrimp Peeled and Deveined
  • 1 lb Shrimp Shells and Tails
  • 1/2 Shallot Diced
  • 4 Garlic Cloves Chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger
  • 1-2 tsp Chili paste
  • 5 Green Onions
  • 3 Cups Water
  • 2 Tbsp Heavy Cream
  • Salt and Pepper

Ramen Toppings

  • Ramen Noodles
  • Corn
  • Bok Choy
  • Bean Sprouts
  • Sliced Green Onions
  • Ramen Eggs
  • Shrimp
  • Mushrooms

Instructions
 

  • In a deep pot or wok, over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of oil. Add shrimp and cook for 3 – 4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of oil and cook your shells, shallot, garlic, ginger, and chili paste. Cook till shells are pink, about 4 minutes. Add in your green onion and cook for another minute.
  • Turn your heat down and pour in your water. Just enough to cover the shells. Bring to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, strain your broth through a fine mesh strainer. Add broth back to the pot and add heavy cream.
  • Taste your broth and adjust seasoning.
  • Pour over the top of your favorite noodles and ramen toppings!
