1 Hour Shrimp Ramen
Simple and Delicious Shrimp Ramen under an hour.

- 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 lb Shrimp Peeled and Deveined
- 1 lb Shrimp Shells and Tails
- 1/2 Shallot Diced
- 4 Garlic Cloves Chopped
- 1 Tbsp Ginger
- 1-2 tsp Chili paste
- 5 Green Onions
- 3 Cups Water
- 2 Tbsp Heavy Cream
- Salt and Pepper
Ramen Toppings
- Ramen Noodles
- Corn
- Bok Choy
- Bean Sprouts
- Sliced Green Onions
- Ramen Eggs
- Shrimp
- Mushrooms
In a deep pot or wok, over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of oil. Add shrimp and cook for 3 – 4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Add 1 tablespoon of oil and cook your shells, shallot, garlic, ginger, and chili paste. Cook till shells are pink, about 4 minutes. Add in your green onion and cook for another minute.
Turn your heat down and pour in your water. Just enough to cover the shells. Bring to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, strain your broth through a fine mesh strainer. Add broth back to the pot and add heavy cream.
Taste your broth and adjust seasoning.
Pour over the top of your favorite noodles and ramen toppings!
