Bakery Chocolate Chip Cookies
Bakery worthy chocolate chip cookies at home!
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Butter Room Temperature
- 1 ¼ Cup Brown Sugar
- ½ Cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs + 1 Yolk Room Temperature
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 3 Cups AP Flour
- 2 tsp Cornstarch
- ½ tsp Baking Powder
- ½ tsp Baking Soda
- ½ tsp Salt
- 2 Cups of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 Cup Milk Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
- In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cornstarch.
- In the bowl of a mixer, cream butter and sugars together for 3-5 minutes. You want the color to be a light pale brown. Add in vanilla and with the mixer on low, add in one egg at a time.
- Once eggs are mixed in, add dry ingredients 1/3 at a time. Mix till everything is combined. About 2 minutes.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop out 3 tablespoon or 3 oz cookies onto a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Give them plenty of room to cook. I usually have to bake 4 rounds of cookies fitting 5 pre tray. This batch will make 18 large cookies.
- Bake for 12-13 minutes. Just until the tops are golden brown.
- Let them rest for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
