Ingredients
  

Cake:

  • 1 Yellow Box Cake Mix
  • 3.4 oz box Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • ¾ cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 8 oz Lemon Lime Soda

Icing:

  • Zest of One Lime
  • Zest of One Lemon
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • ½ cup Lemon Lime Soda

Instructions
 

Cake:

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Heavily coat a large bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine all the cake ingredients except the lemon lime soda. Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes using an electric mixer or mix by hand.
  • Slowly add in the lemon lime soda, mixing for 1 minute until incorporated. The soda may fizz a little, so add it gradually.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan.

Icing:

  • In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and lemon lime soda until it forms a smooth icing.
  • Drizzle the icing over the cooled cake.
  • Garnish with lemon and lime zest.
