- 3 lb chuck roast
- Salt pepper, and garlic powder (to taste)
- 5 large carrots peeled and chopped
- 2 large onions quartered
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 packet of your favorite pot roast seasoning mix
- Avocado oil
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- Garlic mashed potatoes prepared separately
Cook the Roast:
Place the seared chuck roast into the crockpot.
Add the chopped carrots and quartered onions on top of the roast.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the meat is fork-tender.
Finish and Serve:
Once cooked, shred the roast into chunks directly in the crockpot.
